Beyond the Break (Conch Garden Book 1) by Kristen MaeBeyond the Break (Conch Garden #1) by Kristen Mae was an emotionally draining experience. Reading about a broken woman is never easy but this author lets you feel every single emotion as if it was your own. It’s not an easy read due to the fact that you know from the beginning that both women are married and will return to their husbands after their lust-filled interlude.
It’s not a romance, it’s not fluffy and there is a lot of raw, dark material we have to deal with. Most of it is happening inside Hazels head. She is one seriously fucked up individual. Exceptional writing.
m/f, f/f explicit
Themes: Florida, musicians, running, broken woman, lustful obsession, Italy, there is no happy ending for these two women, I don’t know if I can deal with part II anytime soon, but I still want to read it.
How to Tell if Pork is Bad

Because shrimp is highly perishable, the vast majority offered to consumers in markets and grocery stores are frozen or were previously frozen. It doesn't mean that you shrimp isn't fresh, however. Good quality shrimp will be flash-frozen immediately after being caught to maintain their flavor and texture. Frozen shrimp can and does go bad, especially if you purchased some that may have been previously frozen, thawed by the fish counter and then frozen again when you brought it home. Place the frozen shrimp in the refrigerator to thaw completely. Thawing the shrimp is the only way for you to be able to accurately smell, touch and look at them for signs of spoilage.
Myth: If Meat Turns Brown That Means It Is Spoiled
Bad luck to bring inside your home?? Some forums can only be seen by registered members. Hi all, I just read in a book that conch shells bring good luck, but that it is bad luck to bring them inside your house. Which might explain the times that I've seen them in rock gardens and landscaping. I don't really consider myself a superstitious person, but I thought I'd ask anyway. I have some that are shaped the same as a conch, but they are not white.
I read on a Bahamas forum about someone dying after eating conch. I have booked a snorkeling and stingray adventure on Gibbs cay excursion How safe is it to taste conch while visiting the Bahamas and Grand Turk I would be more worried about stepping out the front door in Raleigh! Dying from conch? When conch is spoiled there is NO way you don't know by the smell. Same as most any seafood.
