Post-Graduate Training Program in Jungian Psychoanalysis

The Institute is located at the C. It is operated in close cooperation with the other Jungian organizations at the same location. These unique resources are available to all students of the Institute:. Jung Foundation for Analytical Psychology sponsors numerous programs and classes on Jungian psychology for the public and professionals, runs a Book Store for the public, and publishes the journal, Quadrant, devoted to the work of Jung. The Kristine Mann Library , the premier Jungian Library in this country, houses an extensive collection on Jungian Analytical Psychology and other schools of depth psychology, as well as in the fields of cross-cultural mythology and spiritual studies. The Library also contains leading Jungian journals, films, and audio lectures. The Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism ARAS is a symbol library containing an extensive collection of images which illustrate archetypal themes from ancient to modern times.

For over three decades the C. The service offers referrals to individuals seeking reduced-fee Jungian psychoanalytic psychotherapy conducted by students training at the Institute. All students have Masters or Doctoral degrees and are under the supervision of licensed Jungian Analysts. If you are interested in pursuing the process of low-fee Jungian psychoanalytic psychotherapy conducted by analysts-in-training at the C. Jung Institute of New York, please download the following application form, complete it and mail it, along with the cover page to your federal tax return, to the address listed below.

The Training aims to develop, within a community of students and practicing analysts, an analyst with personal and professional competencies in both theory and clinical practice. Throughout your training, you will engage in your own analysis as well as supervised clinical practice and small classes that approach analytical work and clinical practice from both historic and contemporary perspectives. Within this style of training, Jungian Analytical Psychology is studied and applied in the context of an evolving psychological field where basic assumptions about human nature are assessed and applied to clinical theory and methods of practice. The program is divided into two stages. The first stage introduces Jungian theory and principles of practice, which are grounded in clinical experience. The academic year consists of two semesters, each with fourteen weeks of classes. Most classes are held on Mondays, though some are held on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday mornings.

Fall II: Classes begin the week of November 7, 2019
