Mathematics Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for people studying math at any level and professionals in related fields. It only takes a minute to sign up. I stumbled across this question in my maths textbook and have no idea how to solve it. I have looked at the answers and don't understand how to get it from the question. It's in the chapter titled 'The Quotient Rule' but am not sure how to apply it to this question:.
